Michael Aherne of the National Transport Authority (NTA) delivered a talk entitled “Vision 2020 - The Good News for Cycling in Ireland” PDF 3MB. Michael (pictured below) described the vision of the NTA in relation to growing cycling in Ireland over the coming years and provided an update on progress with the Cycle Network Study in the Greater Dublin Area (GDA), with specific flagship cycling projects and with wider developments in cycling transport.
