Monthly Public Meeting - Bicycle Collisions: Why are they Being Under-reported?

Monday, 13 October 2014 (All day)
Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin

Our public talk this month will be presented by Prof Brian Caulfield of Trinity. He will speak on his recent paper “The safety challenge of increased cycling”. This discusses the under-reporting of RTC’s (Road Traffic Collisions) involving cyclists and presents a number of policy relevant conclusions. This is an unmissable event for anyone who has been in a bicycle collision or a near-miss or anyone on a mission to avoid ever being in a collision! Spread the word!

The talk will take place upstairs in the Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin at 20:00 on Mon 13-Oct-2014

Prof Brian Caulfield is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. He currently leads a number of projects, which examine sustainable transport options, intelligent transport systems, carbon pricing and renewable energy. He is author on over 80 publications on a wide range of transportation topics. http://people.tcd.ie/Profile?Username=caulfib
