What is the Future for Dublin City Centre?
Dublin Cycling Campaign’s monthly public meeting on Thursday next 8th February has the pleasure of hosting Richard Guiney CEO of Dublin Town, which represents over 2,500 city centre businesses.
Richard will speak on a range of issues and present the latest data related to City Centre access - how and who access the city centre? - and what are the transport trends?
He will outline some fascinating insights into these trends, and how footfall has changed in the past few years
He will speak on taking road space from vehicles to give to sustainable transport, and especially on street pedestrianisation
And of course Dublin Town’s views on how the major NTA & DCC City Centre Transport Plan will work with less vehicles.
Of particular interest to Dublin Town is the Regeneration and Redevelopment of the City Centre, including Public Domain improvements, and how they can dovetail with business needs.
*Come along on Thursday for a fascinating insight into the workings of Dublin City Centre and the importance of future transport planning to ensure its sustainable development! ***
