For the eighth year in a row, the Amazing Bicycle Zone is back at Electric Picnic, right in the heart of Global Green! If you visit Electric Picnic, you must make sure to vist the Amazing Bicycle Zone

The space is curated by Dublin Cycling Campaign in collaboration with Cyclist.ie, Cork Cycling Festival, Green Schools Bicycle People and the fantabulous Goldsprints DJs & Bicycle Roller Racing. Sculptor Mick Davis will also be part of our collective displaying his fab works created from recycled bicycle tubes and tyres.

This year we are celebrating how the bicycle helps to deliver on 11 of the UN’s 17 Global Goals (above) - more detail as per the European Cyclists’ Federation document here. These include how bicycles and everyday cycling can: tackle poverty, improve public health, enhance the energy efficiency of transport systems, make cities/settlements safe and sustainable etc.
