Air Quality, Active Travel, and Public Health
How does air quality affect public health? How can active travel improve air quality and public health? How is air quality monitored, and how can citizens get involved in measuring traffic and air quality in their locality? Join us for a virtual public meeting to explore these questions at 8pm on Monday 17 May.
Our speakers are:
Robert Burns, Director of Infrastructure and Climate Change, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council
Dr Colm Byrne, Consultant Geriatrician, Mater Hospital
Patrick Kenny, Manager, Ambient Air Quality I National Ambient Air Quality Unit, Environmental Protection Agency
Francesco Pilla, Associate Professor, School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, UCD
The event will be chaired by Una Morrison and is organised by Mairéad Forsythe and Siobhán McNamara. It will be recorded and posted on YouTube afterwards.
