New Research Published on *dublinbikes* Scheme
What happens as a new mobility system - in the form of a public bike-sharing system - becomes embedded into a city? What, if any, new processes are kicked into action? What, again if any, are the unpredicted consequences associated with the arrival of the scheme? These are some of the questions explored in a paper just published in the journal Research in Transportation Business & Management.
The author is Damien Ó Tuama (currently working as National Cycling Coordinator with Cyclist.ie and An Taisce) and the title of the paper is “Ripples through the city: Understanding the processes set in motion through embedding a public bike sharing scheme in a city”. The paper is available for downloading free of charge here until 19th July 2015: http://authors.elsevier.com/a/1R6t47sdbMZRLB
