Lunch & Learn in BearingPoint - Top Tips for Safe and Enjoyable Cycling in Dublin
Dublin Cycling Campaign and Cyclist.ie were delighted to be invited into the offices of BearingPoint, a leading business and technology consulting firm in Dublin, to give a talk on cycling safety on 19th of September 2019.
Drs. Mike McKillen and Damien Ó Tuama (pictured above) gave the one hour lunchtime presentation covering key areas of cycling safety such as road traffic legislation, the nature of the urban road environment and understanding how to avoid the most common cycle collision types. The presentation also covered some of the latest developments around infrastructural plans for cycling in Dublin city. The talk was attended by both experienced and novice cyclists, including some who are new to Dublin. All of them took away some useful tips to apply during their daily commute.
We want to thank the staff of BearingPoint for inviting us in and for all of the stimulating questions and discussion points which followed the talk.
