History on a Bike! - Phoenix Park Bike Tour

Wednesday, 14 June 2017 (All day)
Phoenix Park Visitor Centre, Dublin - 6.30pm

Make a Date with History!

Right on Dublin City’s doorstep there is a wealth of incredible history and stories embedded within our own Phoenix Park. Not for no reason has the Phoenix Park been designated as a National Historic Park. Official Park Guide Bernadette Canning will be here to guide you on a magical history tour of some of the many historical sites, and the stories associated with them. Monuments right from the megalithic age to the present day abound within the Phoenix Park. So, as well as having some great outdoor fun on a bike you will learn a lot about our nation’s history.

So come along and join us at the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre for a tour start time of 6.30pm. The tour will finish at approximately 8.30pm, and you are welcome to join other members of your tour for a post tour chat and refreshments in the Hole in the Wall pub on Blackhorse Avenue.

Every tour participant will receive a free colourful Phoenix Park Passport, which entitles you to discounts at various attractions with the Phoenix Park!

Places will be limited on the tour, so to reserve your place please fill out this short online registration form.

If you need a bike for the tour, have no fear! Phoenix Park Bike Hire will provide you with a free bike hire for the evening. Just email them at info@phoenixparkbikes.com and give them your details, and the tour you wish to take. You will need to collect your bike by 6.15pm at the latest.

ENJOY the TOUR!
