News from Velo-City Global Adelaide 2014 and the World of Cycling.

Kirsten Doherty, Jonivar Skullerud and Will Andrews will give a talk on their experiences at Velo-City Adelaide 2014, the largest international cycling planning conference with over 1000 attendees. All three are members of Dublin Cycling Campaign and they gave presentations at Velo-City on topics ranging from ‘Barriers and incentives to cycling among staff in an Irish academic hospital’, to “Cycling in Ireland 2005-2015”, to a comparison of policies in Ireland and New Zealand.

They will give an overview of their own presentations and what they learnt about best practices for creating and sustaining cycling-friendly cities.
