The Santa Cycle

We’d like to invite you to join the Santa Cycle, which is being organised by Fingal County Council, the OPW, Dublin Cycling Campaign and Dublin City Council.

Join Santa and friends for a family-friendly festive cycle through the Phoenix Park on Sunday 4th December. This leisurely 5km cycle takes place on a completely car-free route, making it suitable for all ages and abilities. In particular new cyclists are warmly encouraged to join this event as group cycles can be a great way to get started with cycling in a fun, relaxed setting. We’ll have plenty of Christmas tunes to pedal (and sing!) along to on the route. So deck out your bike in your finest Christmas gear and kick off the holiday period with a fun festive cycle!

Date: Sunday 4th December

Time: 1.45 – 3pm

Location: Phoenix Roundabout (off Acres Road, beside the Papal Cross)

Cost: FREE!

If you’d like to take part but don’t have a bike, you can rent one from Phoenix Park Bikes. They have a range of bikes available including children’s bikes, adults’ standard and electric bikes and tandem bikes. Bookings available at https://www.phoenixparkbikes.com/rent-a-bike/ Bikes are also available from bike share schemes – Dublin Bikes, Bleeper and Moby Bikes.

Car parking is available in the Papal Cross car park, just beside the cycle starting point.
